Penultimate weekend, the famous Cubana Lounge in the Imo State capital, Owerri, was agog with the induction of Benjamin Okechukwu Nwokorie popularly called the beardking or ‘Ototo Ahuonu’, as the new Manager.
One of the most sought after night life managers in the nation, Ahuonu was unveiled as the Cubana Opium Manager at an event powered by Hennessy.
Cubana Group boss, Obi Cubana, unveiled ‘Ototo Ahuonu’ as the new “spirit” to drive the Grand Cubana Lounge in Owerri to the next level. Already, the new Cubana Opium Manager, Ahuonu has lunged into the task to rebrand Cubana, which is perhaps the biggest Lounge east of the Niger.
Ototo Ahuonu, a graduate of Imo State University started out as a bouncer at the NV Nite Club, All Seasons Hotel Owerri. At various times in his career, he has been a bouncer, duty supervisor and brand manager at the Orange Room, Krystal Lounge Wuse 2 Abuja, Mimi eatery and Bar, NV Lounge and Krystal Penthouse in Owerri.
The induction had in attendance big boys and shakers from all parts of the country including, E Money, Onyeka Ogbatu(CEO Spanish Kingdom apartments n suites), Aku ruo ulo(CEO Vienna suites Owerri), Chidubem(CEO HYTEL Communications), HRH Eze Barr. Justin Ezeala, Eze Nwanne of Obinwannne in Umuaka, Emeka Saclux paint, Chief Uche Goodnews, among others.
